Kelley Mack died at 33, who played on The Walking Dead

She was 33 years old. We don’t believe Kelley Mack died at 33.
Kelley Mack, an actress best known for playing Addy on “The Walking Dead,” died over the weekend, her family said.
“Such a bright, fervent light has moved on to the next world, where we all must go,” her sister Kathryn posted on Mack’s Instagram on Tuesday.
Mack, whose real name was Kelley Lynne Klebenow, died “peacefully” on Saturday night, with her mother Kristen and aunt Karen by her side. The family said she had been “battling glioma of the central nervous system.”
In January, the celebrity said she had been diagnosed with diffuse midline glioma, which is a very rare type of astrocytoma malignancy. Diffuse midline gliomas are tumors that start in the brain or spinal cord and affect the central nervous system. The National Cancer Institute says that surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy are all ways to treat it.
Mack wrote on Instagram that she had “persistent lower back pain” and thought she had “slipped a disc” late last year. Weeks later, she had “neuropathic itching in my right quad” and then “shooting pains in my legs and back,” which made her sleep in a recliner for a month since lying down was too painful.”
On Thanksgiving Eve, she finally reported that she had emergency MRIs done at a hospital, which showed “an abnormal mass in my spinal cord.”
At the time, she was getting radiation therapy in Cincinnati, where her family lived.
“I am really thankful for my family and boyfriend, who have been there for me every step of the way. Mack added, “This has been a very emotional and hard time that has really tested my mental strength, faith, and physical strength.” “Because of this, I feel closer to God and am leaning on him and trusting his plan for me.”
In March, she posted a video on Instagram showing herself going up and down the stairs and wrote, “I’ve been up and down these stairs twice in the last few days.” It’s a major thing to me.
In a post on Tuesday, Mack’s sister informed her followers, “She would want you all to know how much she loves you.”
“And as her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to jump in with God. “She makes me so f***ing proud,” she said.
The tweet on Tuesday indicated that Mack had already visited her loved ones “in the form of different butterflies.”
“Words can’t describe how much she will be missed by so many,” her sister added.
The family’s statement said that Mack was a lively, creative person whose “love for storytelling blossomed at a young age, when she received a mini video camera as a birthday gift.”
She started out as a child actor in commercials and then moved on to movies. She also did voice-overs, commercial acting, and producing.
Her IMDb page says that Mack played Addy in season 9 of “The Walking Dead” from 2018 to 2019, “Chicago Med” in 2022, and “9-1-1” in 2019. She was in the movies “Mr. Manhattan” and “Delicate Arch” that came out in 2024. In recent months, she had been posting about the movie “Universal” on her Instagram account.
“Kelley was renowned for being warm, creative, and always there for the people around her. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed working together and exchanging stories. “Her enthusiasm and dedication to her work were contagious and inspired many others in the industry and beyond,” the statement stated.
On August 16, there will be a celebration of life ceremony in Ohio.
Mack’s mother and father, Kristen and Lindsay Klebenow, her sister Kathryn, her brother Parker, her grandmother and grandfather, Lois and Larry Klebenow, and her lover Logan Lanier all live on.

What made Kelley Mack tell people about her diagnosis?
Mack has been keeping track of her doctor’s visits, physical therapy sessions, and other important events in her health journey in the past few months.
“I just wanted to share this to be open about what I’m going through, in case any of you can relate or have been given a similar diagnosis,” she wrote on Instagram in January. “I am so grateful for all the help I’ve gotten from everyone during my acting profession, which I love so much. I will also be taking a break from it for a bit while I have radiation treatment in Cincinnati, where my family lives. I do have several projects coming out soon, and I’ll let you know when they come out.
